Kp Police Launches App For Online Police Clearance Certificates

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) residents no longer need to visit police stations to obtain police clearance certificates for visa purposes. The KP Police has launched the Police Sahulat Markaz app, allowing applicants to complete the process conveniently from their smartphones.

After downloading the app, users select “Police Clearance for Visa”, choose their destination country, district, and travel purpose. Applicants must also indicate whether they will collect the certificate themselves or authorize a relative, providing the relative’s details if applicable.

Once the application is submitted, a PSID number appears, enabling payment via Easypaisa. Verification is then conducted through the National Database Registration Authority (NADRA). Two red indicators in the app show pending steps, which turn green upon completion. Certificates can be collected from the nearest Police Sahulat Markaz three days after verification.

Previously, applicants had to visit local police stations, which often caused delays. The new app is part of KP Police’s digital initiative to streamline public services, making the process faster, more transparent, and convenient for visa applicants.

“By introducing the app, we aim to reduce queues and make police clearance certificates accessible with just a few taps on a mobile phone,” said a KP Police spokesperson.
