Under the new schedule, classes will now begin at 9:00 am instead of 8:00 am, with each class period shortened by five minutes to ensure all lessons fit within the revised hours.
The decision comes after a recent school bus collision in Charsadda that injured several children, prompting authorities to prioritize student safety during low visibility morning hours. Officials stressed that the revised schedule will remain in effect as long as hazardous fog conditions persist.
Education authorities also urged parents and school staff to remain vigilant during early hours and ensure students travel safely. The move reflects ongoing efforts to adapt school operations to seasonal challenges while maintaining learning continuity.
