In a major step to modernize early learning, Lahore’s education authorities have announced the establishment of state-of-the-art Early Childhood Education (ECE) rooms in 20 high schools across the city. The initiative aims to provide young children with a stimulating and enriched environment, strengthening the foundation of learning from an early age.
Selected schools for the project include Govt Primary School Arrian, Govt Girls School Nizami Bazar, Govt Girls School Packages Colony Walton, and Govt Upwa Canal Bank Walton, among others. Additional schools such as Govt Girls School Anarkali, Railway Colony Walton, Thokar Niaz Baig, and Govt School Salamatpura Shalimar Town will also benefit from the project.
Officials highlighted that the initiative reflects the government’s commitment to improving the quality of early education in Lahore. Funds will be directly transferred to the selected schools after verification of account details, ensuring timely implementation.
“These modern ECE rooms will provide children with access to advanced learning tools, creative spaces, and innovative teaching methods,” said a school official, emphasizing the project’s role in preparing students for a brighter academic future.
The move comes as part of a larger effort to upgrade Lahore’s education infrastructure and ensure that early education standards match global best practices.
