Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has announced the launch of Pakistan’s first AI university in Lahore, a landmark initiative aimed at transforming the educational landscape and equipping youth with advanced technology skills.

Speaking at the Fourth Edition of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum 2025 in Turkey, Maryam Nawaz emphasized the global urgency of empowering girls through education. She highlighted how Punjab’s AI-centric educational reforms represent a pivotal shift toward modern learning models suited to the needs of the digital age.

“The promotion of AI-based education is changing the landscape of learning. With the establishment of Pakistan’s first AI university in Lahore, we are preparing our youth for a smarter, technology-driven future,” the Chief Minister remarked during her address.

Maryam Nawaz also paid tribute to Turkish First Lady Emine Erdoğan and commended the Maarif Foundation for organizing the international forum at a crucial time. She underscored the deep-rooted bond between Pakistan and Turkey, conveying heartfelt solidarity from the people of Punjab.

Reflecting on her leadership journey since taking office in March 2024, Maryam Nawaz said she is dedicated to continuing the legacy of development laid by PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
