Latest Leaks Outline Features of Apple’s foldable iPhone and iPhone 18 Pro Models

Fresh details about Apple’s next iPhones have surfaced through an analyst note, pointing to major changes across the lineup. The report covers both Apple’s long-rumored foldable iPhone and the iPhone 18 Pro models, which are expected to launch in September.

The information comes from GF Securities analyst Jeff Pu, who shared the specifications in an investor briefing. While Apple has yet to comment, the details suggest a clear direction for the company’s next flagship devices.

Jeff Pu claims Apple’s first foldable iPhone will feature a 7.8-inch inner display paired with a 5.3-inch cover screen. The device is expected to run on the A20 Pro chipset. It will also include Apple’s N2 chip and the C2 modem.

The foldable iPhone is said to ship with 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and support Touch ID. Face ID may not be included. On the camera front, the phone is expected to feature a dual 48MP rear camera setup. It may also include 18MP selfie cameras on both the inner display and the cover screen.

The same note outlines specifications for the iPhone 18 Pro lineup. Both the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max are expected to use the A20 Pro processor. Apple may also add the N2 chip and the C2 modem to both models.

Jeff Pu believes both Pro models will come with 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and an 18MP front camera. However, a separate report recently claimed that all iPhone 18 models will feature a 24MP selfie camera. That detail remains unconfirmed.

For rear cameras, the analyst expects Apple to use identical hardware on both Pro phones. The setup may include a 48MP main camera with variable aperture. A 48MP periscope telephoto and a 48MP ultrawide camera are also expected.

According to the source, display sizes could also see a familiar split. The iPhone 18 Pro is said to feature a 6.3-inch display. Meanwhile, the iPhone 18 Pro Max may offer a larger 6.9-inch screen. Both devices are also tipped to feature under-display Face ID.
