Fresh leaks are shedding new light on Oppo’s next flagship camera phone. The Oppo Find X9 Ultra is shaping up as a major imaging upgrade. The device is expected to debut in April next year. It will succeed the Find X8 Ultra and run on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset.
According to a new source, the Find X9 Ultra will focus heavily on photography. The phone is said to feature dual 200MP cameras on the rear. It will also support 10x optical zoom, signaling Oppo’s push into long-range mobile photography.
The leak claims the primary camera will use a 200MP sensor. Its light intake reportedly outperforms a one-inch-type sensor. Oppo is also expected to include a 200MP periscope telephoto camera with improved light sensitivity. Alongside it, a 50MP periscope telephoto lens will deliver 10x optical zoom.
The source adds that the camera system will offer a native focal length of 230mm. It can extend to 460mm while maintaining optical-quality results. This suggests strong zoom performance without major image loss.
Meanwhile, Oppo has already confirmed a key hardware detail. The Find X9 Ultra will pack a battery larger than 7,000mAh. If accurate, it could pair flagship camera hardware with long battery life.
