Meet the 7th cohort of i2i Accelerator

Invest2Innovate (i2i) Accelerator, the coveted and highly selective startup acceleration program in Pakistan has announced its seventh cohort of accelerated startups.

i2i Accelerator provides business support to impact based startups and gives them access to mentors and investors. The selected startups may also raise investments through i2i’s very own seed capital fund, i2i Ventures. The newest cohort will run across six weekends between October 2018 and February 2019 in Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Murree, and Bhurban.

Let’s meet the diverse accelerator class of i2i for 2018-2019,

1. GharPar

GharPar is a marketplace that connects at-home beauty service providers with clients through a mobile app and web-based service. The startup started in Lahore and have expanded to Islamabad. GharPar has been providing its customers with a high quality, punctual, luxury experience that meets the highest standards of hygiene.

2. Raaji

A product of Aurat Raaj, a digital content platform for Pakistani women, Raaji is a chatbot that uses human expertise and artificial intelligence to help girls and women seeking answers to questions pertaining to reproduction health, hygiene, safety, and gender violence. An alumnus of The Nest I/O, Raaji won the Pakistan finals of the She Loves Tech competition and represented Pakistan in Beijing.

3. Booked.pk

A venue booking portal, Booked.pk allows users to browse and compare hundreds of event venues. The website not only enlists facilities, prices, and availability of venues but also offers to make venue bookings. With a focus on wedding venues, Booked.pk has venues from major cities such as Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Peshawar, Multan, Gujranwala, and Faisalabad.

4. Orbit-ed

Orbit-ed is an ed-tech startup based out of Islamabad. With an aim to revolutionize the learning process of concepts taught textually, Orbit-ed builds 3D visualizations of these concepts and teach students through its augmented reality-based educational app.

5. Roamer Technologies

Roamer offers an on-demand service for short-term chauffer driven car rentals. Operating through a mobile app, Roamer allows travelers to rent a car from a local community of car owners for any duration.

6. Science Fuse

Science Fuse is a social enterprise focusing on transforming how science is communicated within and outside classrooms in Pakistan. Through a hands-on STEM curriculum for students and children, Science Fuse creates informal STEM learning environment for young brains coming from diverse social economic backgrounds.

7. Her Ground

Her Ground is a subscription-based online service that delivers feminine hygiene products directly to consumers. The service is offered through a website that enlists a range of female hygiene products of different brands.
