Meezan Bank has issued a downtime alert for its customers, announcing a temporary suspension of its mobile app and other digital services on the first day of Ramadan.
According to the notification sent to users, the scheduled downtime will take place on 1st Ramadan-ul-Mubarak 1447 AH, from 12:00am to 3:00am. During this period, the Meezan Mobile App and related digital banking services will remain unavailable due to system maintenance.
The bank said the downtime is part of a planned activity aimed at ensuring smoother operations and improved service reliability. Meezan Bank also apologized for any disruption caused and reassured users that services would be restored immediately after the maintenance window ends.
The announcement comes as banks and financial institutions prepare for increased digital activity during Ramadan, when customers often rely more heavily on mobile and online banking services for payments, transfers and bill settlements.
