Mitchell’s Fruit Farms Limited (MFFL) has announced a major leadership reshuffle after CCL Holding (Private) Limited acquired a significant 40.63% stake in the company. Kashif Sajjad Sheikh has been appointed as Chairman of the Board, while Usman Zafar Butt takes charge as CEO, effective 9 December 2025.
The appointments come in the wake of CCL Holding’s recent acquisition, marking a significant change in Mitchell’s ownership structure. The Board of Directors also reconstituted key committees to enhance governance and oversight, reflecting a strategic focus on operational excellence and accountability.
From official visuals and the PSX notice, a company spokesperson stated,
“These appointments are part of our ongoing commitment to strengthen leadership, improve governance, and drive sustainable growth across all business segments.”
The new board committees include:
Audit Committee chaired by Ahsan Rashid, with Asim Dilawar Sheikh and Nadeem Bin Javaid Sheikh as members.
Human Resource & Remuneration Committee led by Babur Sultan, alongside Hassan Zubair Sheikh and Usman Butt.
Sustainability Committee chaired by Fariyha Subhani, with Hassan Zubair Sheikh and Usman Butt as members.
These changes aim to ensure transparency, operational efficiency, and compliance with corporate governance standards.
Kashif Sajjad Sheikh is the Executive Chairman of CCL Holding, with nearly three decades of leadership experience. As former CEO of CCL Pharmaceuticals, he expanded global operations to 16 countries and drove significant growth in revenue and market capitalisation.
Usman Zafar Butt has over 30 years of experience in Pakistan’s food and beverage sector, including 17 years at Coca-Cola İçecek, Pakistan, serving as Commercial Director and Chief Supply Chain Officer.
Mitchell’s Fruit Farms Limited, founded in 1933, went public in 1993 and listed on the PSX in 1996. The company manufactures and sells farm and confectionery products, including beverages, sauces, preserves, and ready-to-eat foods.
