Mobilink Bank Daraz Partnership to Support MSME Financing and Digital Access
Mobilink Bank has entered into a strategic agreement with Daraz Pakistan to formalize the Mobilink Bank Daraz Partnership, focused on expanding financial inclusion, enhancing access to finance, and enabling digital participation for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) across Pakistan. The collaboration is part of both organizations’ efforts to promote economic development at the grassroots level.
The agreement was signed by Haaris Mahmood Chaudhary, President and CEO of Mobilink Bank, and Ehsan Saya, Managing Director of Daraz Pakistan & Sri Lanka. Under the Mobilink Bank Daraz Partnership, Mobilink Bank will offer customized financing solutions ranging from Rs25,000 to Rs3 million to Daraz-affiliated MSMEs and women entrepreneurs to support their business growth.
Through this partnership, Daraz will provide MSMEs with a digital marketplace to showcase and sell their products nationwide. Mobilink Bank will extend green financing initiatives to Daraz employees and suppliers, including options for home solar and e-bike financing, alongside free banking services to encourage sustainable financial practices across the value chain.
Full-Circle Empowerment: Finance, Sustainability, and Digital Reach
According to Mobilink Bank, the collaboration under the Mobilink Bank Daraz Partnership offers entrepreneurs access to tailored financial products while facilitating their digital integration into Pakistan’s evolving e-commerce landscape. The initiative is expected to contribute to the long-term resilience and expansion of MSMEs, particularly those led by women entrepreneurs.
Daraz Pakistan stated that the partnership supports its objective of strengthening small business participation in the digital economy by addressing barriers to finance and market access.
Further developments under the Mobilink Bank Daraz Partnership are anticipated, including the launch of QR code-based payment systems for Daraz deliveries and enhanced cash deposit options for sellers. These initiatives aim to simplify cash flow management and increase financial convenience for participants in Pakistan’s digital ecosystem.
