Mobilink Bank Powers Girls’ Digital Education by Solarizing Zindagi Trust’s Digital Arts Lab in Karachi

Mobilink Bank has strengthened girls’ access to uninterrupted digital education by solarizing the Digital Arts Lab at Khatoon-e-Pakistan Government Girls Secondary School in Karachi, operated by Zindagi Trust. The initiative ensures reliable, sustainable power for digital and creative learning, benefiting hundreds of students and future cohorts.

Announced on December 30, 2025, the project was delivered under Mobilink Bank’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program. By installing solar energy solutions, the bank has addressed power reliability challenges that often disrupt technology-based education in public schools. The solarized lab now supports around 320 students from grades 6 to 8, enabling consistent access to digital tools, creative platforms, and skill-building activities.

The initiative aligns with Mobilink Bank’s broader vision of women’s financial and social inclusion while advancing environmental sustainability. It also supports Zindagi Trust’s mission to transform public education through future-ready learning environments that prioritize digital, creative, and critical thinking skills regardless of infrastructure constraints.
