Motorola appears ready to refresh its Edge Fusion lineup, nearly a year after launching the Edge 60 Fusion in April. A fresh leak now offers a detailed look at the upcoming Edge 70 Fusion, outlining its hardware, design choices, and color options.
According to the source, the Edge 70 Fusion carries the internal codename “Avenger.” This time, Motorola is switching chipsets. The phone is expected to run on the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor, replacing the Dimensity 7400 used in the previous model. This change could bring better performance and efficiency to the midrange lineup.
The leak suggests Motorola will focus heavily on display quality. The Edge 70 Fusion is said to feature a 6.78-inch quad-curved OLED screen. It will support a 144Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, and a peak brightness of 5,200 nits. Gorilla Glass 7i protection is also mentioned, adding durability to the design.
On the software side, the device is expected to ship with Android 16 out of the box. Motorola is reportedly planning to offer three years of operating system upgrades, which should appeal to long-term users.
Camera hardware also sees an update. According to the source, the phone will use a 50MP Sony Lytia sensor as its main rear camera. For selfies, Motorola is said to include a 32MP front-facing camera. These numbers place the Edge 70 Fusion firmly in competitive territory.
Battery capacity is another area where Motorola appears to be pushing forward. The Edge 70 Fusion is tipped to pack a 7,000mAh battery with 68W fast charging support. By comparison, the Edge 60 Fusion featured a 5,500mAh battery.
In terms of memory, the device is expected to launch in 8GB and 12GB RAM variants, both paired with 256GB of storage. The design reportedly includes a rear panel inspired by nylon and linen textures. It is also said to carry IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.
When Motorola officially unveils the Edge 70 Fusion, it is expected to arrive in Blue Surf, Country Air, Orient Blue, Sporting Green, and Silhouette color options. Pricing and launch timing remain unclear for now.
