Motorola Signature Launches With Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 Premium Design And Advanced Cameras

Motorola has unveiled its latest premium device, the Signature, marking the start of its ultra-luxury Signature series. Following the launch of the Razr Fold, this new phone aims to combine cutting-edge technology with a refined design for high-end users. With top-tier specifications and a focus on photography and display quality, the Signature targets enthusiasts seeking performance and elegance.

Display and Design

The Motorola Signature sports a 6.8-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate. Peak brightness reaches up to 6,200 nits, while Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protects the screen. It also supports Dolby Vision and HDR10+, and carries Pantone Color and SkinTone certifications. The phone measures 6.99mm in thickness, weighs 186 grams, and is available in Pantone Carbon and Pantone Martini Olive colors.

Camera System

Photography is a key focus, with a triple rear camera setup. The primary camera uses a 50MP Sony Lytia 828 sensor with OIS and an f/1.6 aperture. A 50MP ultrawide lens offers a 122-degree field of view and macro support. Completing the setup is a 50MP Sony Lytia 600 periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. For selfies, the phone features a 50MP Sony Lytia 500 sensor with autofocus.

Performance and Software

The Signature runs on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage. It comes with Android 16 and several Moto AI features. Motorola guarantees seven years of OS and security updates.

Battery and Charging

The phone packs a 5,200mAh silicon-carbon battery. Wired charging supports 90W, while wireless charging reaches 50W. Reverse charging is available at 10W wirelessly and 5W via cable. The Signature features IP68 and IP69 ratings, meeting MIL-STD-810H durability standards. Other features include an in-display fingerprint scanner, GPS, dual speakers with Sound by Bose, Dolby Atmos, and three microphones.
