Motorola Signature

Motorola is set to pull the curtain on its new Signature smartphone tomorrow, but the surprise may already be gone. A well-known source has shared what appears to be the phone’s complete specification sheet, offering an early look at Motorola’s next flagship.

At the core, the Motorola Signature runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor. It pairs with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and as much as 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage. Motorola is clearly targeting power users with this hardware setup.

On the front, the Signature is expected to feature a 6.8-inch LTPO AMOLED display. The panel reportedly offers a 2,780 x 1,264px resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate. It also integrates a 50MP selfie camera using Sony’s LYT 500 sensor. An ultrasonic fingerprint scanner sits under the display, while Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protects the screen.

Turn the phone around, and the camera setup becomes the main highlight. Motorola is said to use a 50MP primary camera with a Sony LYTIA 828 sensor. The sensor measures 1/1.28-inch and uses an f/1.6 aperture. Alongside it is a 50MP periscope telephoto camera with a Sony LYTIA 600 sensor. This lens offers a 71mm focal length and 3x optical zoom. The third camera is a 50MP ultrawide lens with a 12mm equivalent view, which also supports macro photography.

Beyond cameras, Motorola appears to focus on durability and charging speed. The Signature reportedly carries both IP69 and IP68 ingress protection ratings. It includes a 5,200 mAh battery that supports 90W wired charging, 50W wireless charging, and 10W reverse wireless charging. According to the leak, Motorola will ship the phone with its 90W TurboPower charger in the box.

On the software side, the device is expected to launch with Android 16. Motorola is promising seven years of OS upgrades and security updates, matching recent industry trends. The phone reportedly measures 162.1 x 76.4 x 6.99mm and weighs 186 grams. These dimensions align with earlier leaks pointing to the Motorola Edge 70 Ultra, suggesting the Signature may be closely related.
