The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has announced new job opportunities for IT and telecom professionals across Pakistan, offering Deputy Assistant Director positions in several technical fields.
The vacancies include Junior DevOps Engineer, Junior Infrastructure Engineer, VAS Operations, Network Engineer-Core and System Administrator positions. Candidates with at least 16 years of education in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecom Engineering, Software Engineering or related fields can apply.
Applicants must have degrees from HEC-recognised universities, with the required qualifications attested by HEC. The positions require 0 to 1 year of relevant professional experience, making them suitable for early-career IT professionals. The maximum age limit is 30 years.
For the Junior DevOps Engineer role, candidates should have knowledge of web servers, Git, CI/CD pipelines, scripting languages, Docker, Kubernetes, databases and cloud environments. The Infrastructure Engineer position requires knowledge of servers, storage, networking, Linux, Windows and virtualisation technologies.
The VAS Operations role focuses on telecom and voice systems, including VoIP, SIP, RTP, networking, Linux, monitoring and troubleshooting. Meanwhile, the Network Engineer-Core position covers nationwide connectivity, routing, IP addressing, network monitoring and technologies such as SDN and SD-WAN.
The System Administrator position requires knowledge of data centre infrastructure, Linux and Windows environments, server systems, virtualisation, TCP/IP networking and information security. Experience with cloud-based system administration will be an added advantage.
