The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has announced that satellite-based connectivity services will be temporarily unavailable on March 6, 2026, from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM due to scheduled technical maintenance.
During this maintenance window, around 50 NADRA registration centers located in remote areas of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, Balochistan, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will be temporarily unable to provide services to citizens as these facilities rely on satellite connectivity.
NADRA officials apologized for the inconvenience and advised citizens to plan their visits accordingly. The temporary suspension is required to carry out upgrades and maintenance of satellite communication systems, which play a crucial role in ensuring service delivery in far-flung areas.
Authorities assured that all regular services will resume immediately after 9:30 AM. Citizens who have urgent registration or documentation needs are encouraged to visit centers either before the maintenance period or after services are restored.
For further assistance, NADRA customers can contact the helpline at 1777 or visit the official website for more information.
Officials said the maintenance activity is part of NADRA’s ongoing efforts to improve system reliability and ensure uninterrupted access to registration services for residents in remote and satellite-dependent regions across the country.
