ISLAMABAD: The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has streamlined the NADRA B-Form application process, enabling parents to register their newborns more conveniently through digital channels.
The B-Form, officially known as the Child Registration Certificate (CRC), is a child’s first legal identity document in Pakistan, confirming their inclusion in the national database.
To initiate a NADRA B-Form application, parents must present a birth certificate issued by the Union Council—valid for births inside and outside Pakistan—along with a valid CNIC or NICOP of at least one parent.
How to Apply for a NADRA B-Form Online via Pak ID App
As of 2025, NADRA now allows parents to apply for a B-Form online using the Pak ID Mobile App for children under the age of one. The digital process involves the following steps:
-
Log in or create an account on the Pak ID App.
-
Select “Issuance of Identity Document” and choose “Child Registration Certificate (CRC)”.
-
Enter the 13-digit CNIC number to start the application.
-
Review the pre-filled personal and family data.
-
Select your preferred processing priority (standard or executive).
-
Upload a recent photograph of the child.
-
Provide a digital signature.
-
Enter the child’s details and upload required documents.
-
Verify the fingerprints of one parent.
-
Review the completed form and submit the application.
For children older than one year, parents are still required to visit a NADRA office in person to complete the process.
The 2025 fee structure remains unchanged: the standard application fee is Rs50, while the executive service—designed for quicker processing and delivery—costs Rs500.
This latest update to the NADRA B-Form application system reflects the organization’s continued efforts to enhance accessibility, reduce wait times, and digitize citizen services for greater efficiency.
