NADRA has introduced a new digital feature that enables vehicle transfer verification directly on a smartphone. The authority has added online biometric verification for Islamabad-registered vehicles to the Pak-ID mobile app, giving citizens a way to confirm ownership details without stepping outside their homes.
The update marks another step in NADRA’s shift toward remote identity services. Citizens can now use the Pak-ID app to complete biometric checks before beginning the official transfer process. After this verification is done, buyers and sellers only need to visit the relevant department to finalize the paperwork.
The feature appears in the app under the “ICT Vehicle” category, which already hosts several identity and verification tools. NADRA says the addition will speed up transfers while improving security. It also allows users to avoid long queues at government counters.
