NADRA Opens First Women-Only Center in South Punjab
In a landmark step towards women’s empowerment, the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has opened its first-ever Women Registration Center (WRC) in Dera Ghazi Khan, South Punjab. The facility, located at Mall of DG Khan, Garden Town on Multan Road, provides a safe and respectful space for women to access registration services independently.
According to NADRA officials, the center will help women obtain essential identity documents such as CNICs, family registration certificates, and child registration forms without discomfort or hesitation.
“These documents symbolize a woman’s financial independence, property rights, and political identity,” an official stated.
This initiative is part of NADRA’s ongoing efforts to introduce gender-sensitive services nationwide, ensuring every woman can establish her legal identity with dignity. The Women Registration Center in South Punjab marks a major stride toward promoting social inclusion and equal access to state services for women.
