National Savings Confirms Official Schedule for First Prize Bond Draw of 2026

The State Bank of Pakistan, in coordination with National Savings, has announced that the first Prize Bond draw of 2026 will take place on Thursday, January 15. The draw will be held in Peshawar for the Rs. 750/- denomination, starting at the scheduled time of 11:00 AM.

Prize bonds remain one of Pakistan’s most popular investment tools, offering citizens a combination of secure savings and a chance to win significant cash prizes. Millions of investors across the country participate in these draws, hoping to win big from the government-backed securities.

The 2026 Prize Bond draw schedule, issued from Islamabad, covers all draws for the calendar year. Regular prize bonds include denominations of Rs. 100, Rs. 200, Rs. 750, and Rs. 1,500, with draws held in major cities such as Karachi, Lahore, Faisalabad, Hyderabad, and Sialkot. The first draw of the year, for Rs. 750/- bonds, kicks off in Peshawar, while the remaining draws will continue throughout the year as per the official timetable.

Investors holding Premium Prize Bonds of Rs. 25,000 and Rs. 40,000 can expect quarterly draws in March, June, September, and December in cities including Rawalpindi, Muzaffarabad, Sialkot, Lahore, Multan, Peshawar, Quetta, and Karachi.

The National Savings has also clarified that if a scheduled draw coincides with a public holiday, it will be conducted on the next working day to ensure transparency.

Investors are advised to check their bond numbers carefully on the draw date and follow official announcements for the results. This first draw marks the beginning of another year of opportunities for bondholders across Pakistan.
