NAYATel Customers to Face Possible Internet Disruption on January 7

NAYATel has informed customers about a planned network maintenance activity scheduled for 07-Jan-26. The work will take place between 12:00 AM and 02:00 PM and may affect internet services during this window.

According to the company, maintenance is essential for network reliability. During the 14-hour activity period, all NAYATel subscribed services at a specific Islamabad location will be impacted.

NAYATel stated that service disruption may include slow speeds or complete unavailability. The company apologized for the inconvenience and asked customers to plan accordingly. It also advised users to rely on official digital channels for updates and support.

At the same time, NAYATel confirmed a separate issue affecting internet performance nationwide. The company said Pakistan is currently facing an internet slowdown due to degradation in one of its two upstream providers. This problem is impacting a large portion of internet traffic across the country.

The technical team is monitoring the situation continuously. NAYATel added that it is working closely with the upstream provider to restore normal service as early as possible. However, no exact resolution timeline has been shared yet.

For faster responses, customers have been advised to use the My NAYATel App or the Customer Portal. These platforms offer automated support and account-related information. NAYATel’s Technical Assistance Center remains available for further help.

The company assured customers that both issues are being handled with priority. Further updates are expected once services stabilize.
