Suzuki has unveiled the 2025 edition of its highly regarded Wagon R, offering an affordable and practical solution for city dwellers and budget-conscious drivers. Continuing its legacy of reliability and fuel efficiency, the new Wagon R promises to deliver a comfortable and spacious ride in a compact, cost-effective package.
The 2025 Wagon R is powered by a 1.0-liter three-cylinder petrol engine that produces 67 horsepower and 90 Nm of torque. The Wagon R models have two gearbox options: manual and the Auto Gear Shift (AGS) technology, which provides pleasant driving in urban environments. The Wagon R distinguishes itself for its fuel efficiency, which ranges from 14-16 km/L in urban traffic to more than 22 km/L on highway drives, allowing passengers to travel long distances at a low cost.
Suzuki’s designers used its Heartect platform to create the 2025 Wagon R, which features a contemporary exterior design with squared corners. The current model features a chrome trapezium front grille and halogen headlamps; however, fog lamps are only available on higher specification levels. All VXL and AGS models sport beautiful alloy wheels, while the base VXR model has steel rims. The Wagon R has six various exterior color options for drivers to choose from, including Solid White, Silky Silver, Graphite Grey, Pearl Black, Red, and Blue.
The Wagon R’s interior is designed with functionality in mind. The vehicle has adequate space above the head and below the legs to comfortably fit all people. Power steering, manual air conditioning, and various useful storage areas are standard features on the Wagon R variant. The Wagon R’s advanced VXL and AGS trim levels include a 9-inch infotainment display, power windows, central locking, and keyless entry to improve driver and passenger comfort and convenience.
Safety features on the 2025 Wagon R basic include an immobilizer system with 3-point seat belts and a driver-side airbag in the AGS trim, although it lacks some of the current safety features offered in competitors such as the Vitz and i10. The 2025 Wagon R has an ABS option, although most other vehicles in its market come standard with modern safety technology.
