Nothing Phone (3) Set to Launch in Q3 2025, Confirms CEO Carl Pei

Nothing’s long-awaited flagship smartphone, the Nothing Phone (3), has officially been confirmed for a Q3 2025 release. The confirmation came directly from the company’s founder and CEO, Carl Pei, during a recent Ask Me Anything (AMA) session held on social media platform X (formerly Twitter). Pei’s brief but clear“ response—“Q3”—places” the launch window squarely between July and September 2025.

This announcement puts an end to months of speculation, especially after the unexpected release of the Nothing Phone (3a) and Phone (3a) Pro earlier this year. The mid-range models from the company maintained competitive pricing while delivering innovative features, but they still left tech enthusiasts desiring their genuine premium model.

The latest iteration of the Nothing Phone (2) was introduced to the market in July 2023, following its initial release in July 2022 with the Phone (1). There is no indication that the company will continue to release its annual flagship models for the Phone series in July, as it did not introduce a significant update to the Phone in 2024.

Since their announcement, the specifications of the Phone (3) have been closely guarded by Nothing. However, anticipations are elevated.  The forthcoming Phone (3) is expected to feature cutting-edge specifications, including a triple-camera configuration that includes a telephoto lens, an advanced chipset, and an AMOLED display with high refresh rates, according to speculative info. The new device will offer enhanced ingress protection that surpasses the previous iteration, thereby ensuring greater durability.

The pixelated imagery that was featured in an official video regarding the design of the Phone (3a) series served as an unofficial introduction to the soon-to-be-released Phone 3. The announcement confirms that the impending Phone (3) is still in existence and is the subject of development work, despite the fact that the device design is kept secret from the public.

With the flagship launch now just a few months away, industry watchers anticipate a teaser campaign to kick off as early as May or June, revealing more about the Phone (3)’s design, features, and specs.
