Nubia S2R Surfaces Online Featuring Single Rear Camera

Nubia is gearing up for another smartphone launch following the recent unveiling of the V80 Design in select global markets. The new device, reportedly called the Nubia S2R, has surfaced online through leaked images, hinting at a budget-friendly offering.

According to the source, shared photos of the Nubia S2R reveal a modest design. The back houses a single camera and an LED flash, suggesting basic photography capabilities. At the front, the phone includes a display with a hole-punch cutout for the front camera, paired with thick bezels.

The right side of the S2R carries the volume and power buttons, along with a third key that may serve as a dedicated camera shutter or customizable shortcut. Meanwhile, the SIM card slot appears on the left edge. No additional specifications or details about the device have been disclosed.

Nubia’s recently launched V80 Design, by comparison, resembles the iPhone 17 Pro from the back. It features a 6.75-inch LCD with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 5,000mAh battery, a 50MP rear camera, and runs on the Unisoc T7280 chipset. The V80 Design emphasizes performance and design, whereas the S2R seems to target cost-conscious users.
