Nubia Z80 Ultra Hits Global Markets for Sale After China Launch

Nubia has officially launched the Z80 Ultra in global markets after its debut in China on October 22. The company’s latest flagship smartphone brings top-tier hardware, a massive battery, and a bold design that continues Nubia’s push for innovation.

The Z80 Ultra is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, paired with a 7,200mAh Si/C battery. It supports 90W wired and 80W wireless fast charging, ensuring quick top-ups despite the large capacity.

On the front, the device features a 6.85-inch AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and 2,000 nits peak brightness. The screen has a 1,216 x 2,688 pixel resolution and ultra-slim bezels. Thanks to its under-display 16MP camera, the display remains completely notch-free for an immersive viewing experience.

At the rear, Nubia has redesigned the camera module. The triple-camera setup includes a 50MP main sensor with f/1.7 aperture and OIS, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 64MP telephoto periscope camera offering 3x optical zoom.

The smartphone runs on MyOS and carries an IP68/IP69 rating for water and dust resistance. It also includes an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, a customizable slide key, and a dedicated camera button. Connectivity options include NFC, Bluetooth 6.0, Wi-Fi 7, and a USB-C 3.2 (Gen 1) port. The Z80 Ultra further enhances multimedia with dual speakers featuring DTS X Ultra support and five microphones.

Globally, the Nubia Z80 Ultra is available in Black, White, and Starry Night color options. The 12GB/256GB model is priced at $649 (£579/€649), while the 16GB/512GB version costs $799 (£709/€799). The top-tier 16GB/1TB model is listed at $899 (£799/€899). The Black variant is available across all configurations, while the White color comes only with 16GB RAM and 512GB storage. The Starry Night edition offers 16GB RAM and 512GB storage at $829 (£729/€829).

As part of its global rollout, Nubia is offering early buyers a discount: $30 off worldwide, £20 off in the UK, and €20 off across EU markets.
