The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has raised the price of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) by Rs 6.37 per kilogram, according to an official notification.
Following the increase, the cost of a domestic LPG cylinder has risen by Rs 75.21. OGRA stated that the new prices will be effective from February 1.
OGRA had also raised LPG prices for January 2026, with the cost of an 11.8-kilogram domestic cylinder increasing by Rs 126.09, effective from January 1.
Earlier this month, the Petroleum Minister, Ali Pervaiz Malik, said a new policy for the LPG sector would soon be introduced, explaining that while the sector is deregulated, the government still monitors and regulates prices.
