The Omada C7 could come with a bang in the Pakistani market, as Chery’s sub-brand unveiled its latest plug-in hybrid SUV at the Shanghai Auto Show 2025. With an impressive electric range, modern features, and bold styling, the C7 could become a major player if launched locally through Chery’s new partnership with NextGen Auto.
Powered by a 1.5L turbocharged engine paired with plug-in hybrid technology, the Omada C7 offers a pure electric driving range of 95 kilometers. When combining fuel and electric power, it achieves a remarkable total range of 1,250 kilometers. It boasts a fuel average of 17 km/l, delivering an excellent mix of efficiency and long-distance performance.
Visually, the Omada C7 sports a distinctive front grille design inspired by crocodile skin, setting it apart from typical SUV styling. It features 20-inch alloy wheels available in either a machine finish or piano black. Dual charging ports are provided on both sides, while the rear profile is highlighted by a full-width integrated LED light bar and a high-mounted brake lamp, giving it a sleek, EV-inspired appearance.
Inside, the Omada C7 brings luxury and technology together with Nubuck leather seats, a panoramic sunroof, and a 15.6-inch rotatable infotainment screen. A 12-speaker Sony sound system ensures premium audio quality, while practical additions like a wireless phone charger and a head-up display enhance convenience. The oversized steering wheel design focuses on comfort and easy manoeuvrability.
Other features enhancing the driving experience include automatic boot operation and electronically controlled fuel cap access. While the showcased Omada C7 was a left-hand drive model, a right-hand drive version is expected for international markets, including Pakistan.
If introduced competitively, the Omada C7 could come with a bang in the Pakistani market, offering a compelling choice for consumers looking for eco-friendly, performance-driven SUVs with advanced technology and standout design.
