Omoda & Jaecoo Pakistan has officially launched the Omoda 7 SHS-P plug-in hybrid SUV in Pakistan, expanding its new energy vehicle lineup to five models in less than a year.
The SUV is being introduced through NexGen Auto, which operates under Nishat Motor Company. The Omoda 7 follows the local introduction of the Jaecoo J6, Omoda E5, Jaecoo J7 and Jaecoo J5.
Powerful Plug-In Hybrid System
The Omoda 7 SHS-P combines a 1.5-liter turbocharged petrol engine with an 18 kWh battery pack and Dedicated Hybrid Transmission (DHT).
According to the company, the powertrain produces a combined 340 horsepower and 525 Nm of torque.
The SUV can travel more than 90 kilometers on electric power alone under the WLTP testing standard. Omoda also claims a combined driving range of approximately 1,200 kilometers with a full fuel tank and fully charged battery.
Premium Exterior Design
The Omoda 7 features a modern exterior with a borderless front grille, LED headlights, LED daytime running lights and 20-inch alloy wheels.
Other exterior features include flush door handles, roof rails, a panoramic sunroof, full-width LED taillights and a powered tailgate.
The luggage area is equipped with 60:40 split-folding rear seats, while the SUV also comes with a full-size spare wheel.
Technology-Focused Interior
Inside, the SUV gets soft-touch leatherette, suede upholstery and wood trim.
The dashboard features an 8.8-inch digital instrument cluster, a 15.6-inch sliding infotainment display and a head-up display.
Technology features include wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, 50W wireless smartphone charging, a built-in fragrance system, customizable ambient lighting and voice controls.
The driver’s seat offers 10-way power adjustment, memory settings, lumbar support, heating and ventilation. The front passenger seat adds a Zero Gravity recline function with a built-in massage feature.
Advanced Safety Features
The Omoda 7 SHS-P comes with eight airbags, a 360-degree camera and Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS).
Its ADAS package includes Adaptive Cruise Control, Autonomous Emergency Braking, Lane Keeping Assist, Blind Spot Monitoring, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Front and Rear Collision Warning, Door Opening Warning and Driver Fatigue Monitoring.
Omoda 7 Price in Pakistan
The Omoda 7 SHS-P has been launched at an introductory ex-factory price of Rs. 10,649,000 under a price-lock offer valid until August 31, 2026.
Customers can book the plug-in hybrid SUV by paying a Rs. 2 million booking amount before the promotional offer expires.
