OnePlus 15 full Specs and Design Leak Ahead of Global Launch
The OnePlus 15 is inching closer to its official debut, with fresh reports suggesting a global launch on October 13. Unlike previous years, OnePlus is reportedly planning a single unveiling event that will cover both China and international markets, signaling a more unified release strategy for its upcoming flagship.
So far, the company has remained quiet about the device’s specifications, confirming only that it will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. However, a new leak gives us a detailed look at what to expect from the OnePlus 15.
Expected Specifications
The smartphone is tipped to feature a 6.78-inch BOE X3 AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution and LTPO technology. It will offer a dynamic refresh rate between 1 Hz and 165 Hz, along with support for Dolby Vision and Pro XDR. The display is said to reach a peak brightness of 1,800 nits, ensuring excellent visibility and color accuracy.
Software
The OnePlus 15 will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. According to reports, the device will be available in 12GB/256GB, 12GB/512GB, 16GB/256GB, 16GB/512GB, and 16GB/1TB configurations, although availability may vary by region. The phone will also include Wind Chi Game Kernel 2.0, a feature designed to enhance gaming performance and reduce latency.
Camera
In the camera department, the OnePlus 15 is expected to sport a triple 50MP setup. The main sensor is said to be a Sony LYT-700 with OIS and an f/1.8 aperture at 24 mm. It will be joined by two Samsung ISOCELL JN5 sensors, one for 0.6x ultrawide shots (15 mm, f/2.0) and another for 3.5x telephoto zoom (85 mm, f/2.8, OIS).
Battery
Keeping everything running will be a 7,300 mAh third-generation Glacier battery supporting 120W wired and 50W wireless charging. The phone will also feature dual stereo speakers, a large vibration motor, an ultrasonic under-display fingerprint reader, and a new cooling system. Connectivity options may include NFC, an IR blaster, and a USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C port.
Pricing remains under wraps, but leaks indicate the OnePlus 15 will launch in purple, titanium, and black color options across its various memory variants.
