OnePlus 15 Update Adds Neon Camera Filter and Bypass Charging Support
OnePlus has started rolling out OxygenOS 16.0.2.401 for the OnePlus 15, bringing camera upgrades, charging improvements, and the December 2025 Android security patch. The update focuses on photography tools, smoother system behavior, and better battery protection during heavy use, while keeping the experience simple and practical.
The highlight is a new camera filter inspired by classic film photography. At the same time, OnePlus has expanded filtering support across the Photos app and refined performance in several core system areas. The update is now reaching users in phases, starting with a limited rollout.

- Reduces overheating during extended use while connected to a charger
- Improves thumbnail parsing in the Photos app for faster image loading
- Allows resized app icons and drag-and-drop shortcut rearrangement
- Enables resizing of app clone icons and adding shortcuts
- Fixes an issue that could disconnect a car display when switching mobile data networks
The OxygenOS 16.0.2.401 update is rolling out to the OnePlus 15 Indian model with firmware version CPH2745_16.0.2.401(EX01). European and global models are receiving firmware version CPH2747_16.0.2.401(EX01).
OnePlus says the update is first reaching a small percentage of users. A wider rollout will begin in the coming days if no major issues are reported.
