OnePlus is ready to expand its premium lineup with the upcoming OnePlus 15T. The device is expected to launch in China later this month. Company officials have already started sharing key details, positioning the phone as a compact flagship with serious camera upgrades.
OnePlus says the 15T will feature an improved periscope telephoto camera. This suggests the brand is focusing on Zoom performance in a smaller form factor. Compact phones often compromise on camera hardware, but OnePlus appears to be taking a different route.
Now, new information about the display has surfaced. Li Jie, President of OnePlus China, shared an image of the OnePlus 15T on Weibo. The image highlights the phone’s slim and even bezels. In fact, the teaser directly compares the 15T’s display with what appears to be the iPhone 17 Pro.
From the shared image, the bezels on the OnePlus 15T look noticeably thinner than those on Apple’s device. According to Li Jie, OnePlus achieved this design by using a new chip-level packaging process. The company also relied on its own display technologies to refine the panel structure and reduce border size.
As a result, the front design looks cleaner and more immersive. Slim and uniform bezels usually improve the viewing experience. They also give the phone a more premium look.
Recent leaks point to strong display specifications. The OnePlus 15T is rumored to feature a 6.32-inch AMOLED display. The panel is expected to offer a 1.5K resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate. If accurate, these numbers place the phone among the fastest displays in its segment.
A 165Hz refresh rate would deliver smoother scrolling and better gaming performance. Meanwhile, the 1.5K resolution should offer sharp visuals without draining too much battery. Combined with its compact size, the display could become one of the key selling points.
With the launch expected later this month in China, more official details should arrive soon. For now, OnePlus seems confident that the 15T will stand out through its slim bezels, upgraded periscope camera, and high-refresh AMOLED panel.
