OnePlus is gearing up for a major product reveal on December 17, and the Pad Go 2 is shaping up to be one of the standout announcements. The company has shared fresh details about the tablet ahead of its launch alongside the OnePlus 15R and the Watch Lite. The new information confirms that OnePlus is positioning the Pad Go 2 as a more capable and polished upgrade for its mid-range tablet lineup.
The Pad Go 2 features a 12.1-inch display that reaches up to 900 nits in high-brightness mode. It uses a 7:5 aspect ratio, offers an 88.5% screen-to-body ratio, and delivers a crisp 2800 x 1980 resolution. The screen also supports Dolby Vision, which should improve color accuracy and contrast.
OnePlus has packed a 10,050mAh battery inside the tablet, and it supports 33W fast charging. There is also 6.5W reverse charging for powering smaller devices. The company will offer an 8GB/256GB model in Shadow Black, and this version includes 5G connectivity.
In a first for the Pad Go series, the new model will support stylus input. OnePlus will introduce the Pad Go 2 Stylo, which brings 4,096 pressure points for more precise writing and drawing. The tablet uses the MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Ultra chip, which should help deliver smoother performance during multitasking and creative work.
The software experience is getting a boost as well. OnePlus says the Pad Go 2 will include several AI tools such as AI Writer, AI Translation, AI Summary, and AI Recorder. These features hint at a bigger focus on productivity and on-device assistance.
