OnePlus Turbo 6 Series Confirmed for January 8 With Flagship-Level Specs

After weeks of leaks and speculation, OnePlus has officially confirmed the launch date for its Turbo 6 smartphone series. The company says the lineup will debut in China on January 8, alongside early details on design, color options, and core hardware.

The upcoming lineup includes the OnePlus Turbo 6 and the Turbo 6V. Ahead of launch, OnePlus revealed official images of both phones and confirmed several specifications through listings and a teaser video on Weibo. These disclosures outline how the two models will differ in performance and positioning.

The OnePlus Turbo 6 targets power users with a triple rear camera setup and a bold design. It will arrive in Chasing Light Silver, Lone Black, and Wilderness Green. OnePlus will sell the phone in 12GB/256GB, 12GB/512GB, 16GB/256GB, and 16GB/512GB configurations.

The Turbo 6 will run on the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor. It will feature a display with a 165Hz refresh rate for smoother visuals. OnePlus is also packing a massive 9,000mAh battery into the device and adding an IP69 rating for durability.

The OnePlus Turbo 6V, meanwhile, sits slightly lower in the lineup. It will feature a dual rear camera system and launch in Fearless Blue, Lone Black, and Nova White. Buyers will be able to choose between 8GB/256GB, 12GB/256GB, and 12GB/512GB variants.

Although OnePlus has shared fewer official details about the Turbo 6V, early information paints a clear picture. The phone is expected to include a 9,000mAh battery as well. It is said to run on the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset and feature a 144Hz refresh rate display.

With the launch now confirmed, OnePlus is likely to reveal more details in the coming days. As January 8 approaches, the Turbo 6 series appears set to focus on performance, large batteries, and high refresh rate displays.
