Lahore: The Punjab government has officially launched the CM Punjab Laptop Scheme 2025, offering 110,000 advanced laptops to high-achieving students. After months of anticipation, the Higher Education Department (HED) has opened online registrations, allowing eligible students to apply through its official website.
Additionally, 2,000 laptops are designated for minority pupils as part of the initiative. Students who have accomplished their matriculation or intermediate education are eligible to participate in the program.
The laptop scheme was announced by Provincial Minister for Education Rana Sikandar Hayat, who stated that the Chief Minister of Punjab would provide 110,000 pupils with the most recent iteration of laptops as part of this initiative.
Generation 13 Core i7 laptops will be distributed to students, according to the Education Minister. The Punjab Higher Education Department’s website contains all pertinent information, including the official link for online applications.
Within a few hours of the portal’s inauguration, more than 34,000 students had already registered, according to Rana Sikandar Hayat.
The aim of the initiative is to provide 110,000 students in a variety of academic disciplines with the most recent-generation laptops, which include Core i7 devices.
