The Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony has launched a new online registration system for pilgrims traveling to Iran and Iraq for ziyarat at holy sites, making it mandatory for all bookings to go through registered organizers only.
Under the newly introduced Zaireen Group Organizers Registration System, unregistered individuals or companies will no longer be permitted to handle pilgrim bookings.
The move is part of the broader Ziyarat Policy 2026, under which the ministry has officially registered 262 Zaireen Group Organizers. All travel and booking arrangements for pilgrims heading to Iran and Iraq will now be managed exclusively through these approved organizers.
According to the official announcement, a complete list of registered organizers has been placed on the website of the Ministry of Religious Affairs, allowing pilgrims to select a verified organizer of their choice.
Pilgrims have been directed to book their travel only through registered organizers and to avoid any dealings with unauthorized individuals or unregistered companies, as the ministry will not be responsible for any loss or fraud arising from such transactions.
The ministry stated that the initiative is aimed at ensuring safe, organized and transparent travel facilities for pilgrims while discouraging illegal operators from the ziyarat travel business.
