Oppo N3 Images Leaked before Release in October

Oppo N1, released last year, impressed tech enthusiasts around the world with its sleek design and a rotating 13-megapixel camera. This year around, we have a successor. Oppo has released a teaser pic of their Oppo N3 on their facebook page, which clearly shows a phone with a rotating camera and…well..an unusual design.

Thanks to GSMArena, we were able to get a first hand look on the new device set to be launched in Singapore in October. The design, though unusual, shows a rotating cylindrical look with a camera (and a dual LED flash) in between and, what probably looks like, speakers on the sides. As per the details available on GSMArena, the trusted tipster who sent these photo did not reveal anything about the specs, processor or what’s inside the Oppo N3.

Just like the Oppo N1, which featured a rotating camera, the N3 also features one, so you can use the same powerful lens to take both regular photos and high-quality selfies. Comparing to N1, the design part looks a bit more bulgy, a kind of design that mainstream cameras don’t offer anymore. The overall design looks pretty decent and the metallic shell with super thin bezels and far more slimmer than many other devices in the market. The bulgy part placed at the top seems to be the off-point here as N1’s thickness was in relation with the overall size of the device.

There’s still no word available as to what Oppo N3 will have under the hood, but expectations are on the rise specially after last years impressive unvieling of Oppo N1, which featured a 5.9-inch IPS LCD display screen with full HD resolution and a pixel count of 373ppi. The other thing to wonder is the OS of Oppo N3 as some of the variants of Oppo N1 were shipped running the CyanogenMod, but from the looks of it, it appears that N3 would be running Oppo’s custom OS, Color.

Nevertheless, we are as excited as all the other tech enthusiasts are around the world ever since the images went viral on the internet. We hope it won’t take us too long to get an official look at the device and bring a hands on review for our readers. On a personal note, I hope Oppo has plans to cut down the bulgy camera module, because, it just might prove to be the difference maker in an otherwise super quality device.
