Oppo Partners with Google to Bring New AI Features to Find X9 Series

Oppo has expanded its AI ambitions with a new partnership with Google, bringing advanced Gemini-powered features to its latest Find X9 and Find X9 Pro smartphones. The announcement follows the recent launch of the Find X9 series in China, with a global debut expected soon.

The collaboration will introduce several AI-driven tools designed to enhance user experience. Among them is Oppo’s Mind Space app, which now connects directly with Google Gemini. Users can capture on-screen content using a simple three-finger swipe, allowing Gemini AI to analyze and act on the saved information seamlessly.

Oppo’s ColorOS 16 will also receive deeper Gemini integration across native apps, along with support for Nano Banana AI image editing. X9 users can access a range of AI features, including AI Search, AI Call Summary, AI Recorder, and AI Writer, all designed to streamline daily tasks and improve productivity.

In addition, Find X9 devices will support Gemini Live, offering real-time visual assistance directly on the screen. Oppo says all these AI features will run on its AI Private Computing Cloud, supported by Google Cloud’s security framework to ensure data protection.

As part of the partnership, Find X9 buyers will receive a free three-month Google AI Pro subscription, unlocking premium AI capabilities.
