Oppo Reno 15c Debuts With Snapdragon 7 Gen 4, Bigger Battery, and Triple Cameras

Oppo has officially unveiled the Reno 15c in China, months after first teasing the device alongside the Reno 15 and Reno 15 Pro in November. The launch expands Oppo’s midrange lineup with a phone that leans heavily on performance, display quality, and camera hardware.

At its core, the Oppo Reno 15c runs on the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, the processor pairs with up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. As a result, Oppo is positioning the device for smooth daily use and sustained multitasking.

The phone features a flat 6.59-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It delivers a resolution of 2760×1256 pixels and reaches up to 1,200 nits of peak brightness. An in-display optical fingerprint scanner is also built into the panel.

On the back, Oppo equips the Reno 15c with a triple camera system. The setup includes a 50MP Sony LYT-600 main wide sensor, a 50MP Samsung JN5 periscope telephoto lens, and an 8MP Sony IMX355 ultrawide camera. For selfies, the phone uses a 50MP front-facing sensor.

Powering the device is a 6,500mAh battery that supports up to 80W fast charging. The Reno 15c weighs 197g and measures 7.89mm in thickness. It runs Android 16-based ColorOS 16 and introduces several AI-driven features.

Connectivity options include dual-band Wi-Fi 6, NFC, and Bluetooth 5.4. The phone also offers an IR blaster, stereo speakers, and up to an IP69 rating for dust and water resistance.

Oppo has opened pre-orders for the Reno 15c in China ahead of its December 19 sale date. The device comes in Aurora Blue, College Blue, and Starlight Bow finishes.

Pricing starts at CNY 2,899, or $410, for the 12GB and 256GB variant. The 12GB and 512GB models costs CNY 3,199, which converts to $450.
