In a significant boost to bilateral trade, the Commercial Mission of Pakistan in China has facilitated the registration of over 600 Pakistani companies across multiple sectors, marking a new milestone in Pakistan’s market expansion and export diversification in China.

According to officials, the registrations include 25 mango, 21 citrus, 103 rice, 175 seafood, 185 sesame seed, 106 cherry, 15 rapeseed meal, 10 fish meal, and 7 defatted bone companies. This move aims to enhance Pakistan’s export access to China and promote digital integration through major e-commerce platforms.

The mission has also helped 10 Pakistani enterprises register on Chinese e-commerce platforms like Douyin and JD.com, enabling online sales of products such as jewellery, pink salt, pine nuts, rice, handicrafts, and carpets.

An official from the mission stated,

“These registrations reflect growing trust between Chinese importers and Pakistani exporters, paving the way for deeper trade and investment cooperation.”

Additionally, new export categories  including onions, donkey hides, and dairy products  are under review for approval. The Commercial Mission continues to work closely with TDAP, BOI, and the Chinese Embassy to support exporters and facilitate business visas.
