NADRA has announced a temporary suspension of its digital and counter-based services today, January 15, 2026, affecting Pak Identity App users and overseas Pakistanis. The planned outage, scheduled from 2:00 am to 10:00 am (PST), is part of a nationwide system maintenance aimed at enhancing performance and strengthening data security.
According to NADRA’s official notification, all services will remain unavailable during the maintenance window. This includes access to the Pak Identity mobile app as well as biometric verification and registration services at overseas NADRA counters. Citizens have been advised to avoid visiting centers or submitting online applications during these hours to prevent inconvenience.
A NADRA official stated, “The temporary suspension is necessary to carry out critical backend upgrades that will improve system reliability and data protection for users in Pakistan and abroad.”
