Pakistan has extended the closure of its airspace to Indian flights until September 24, according to a new NOTAM issued by the Pakistan Airport Authority (PAA).
The notice states that the ban on entry into Pakistani airspace applies to all India-registered airlines, leased aircraft, and commercial and military aircraft owned or operated by Indian nationals.
The restriction has been in force since August 18 and will now remain effective until 4:59 am Pakistan Standard Time on September 24.
The airspace closure was first imposed on April 23, 2025, and has since been extended repeatedly through periodic NOTAMs. The latest notice marks the sixteenth such extension issued since the ban was introduced.
