Pakistan Railways has rolled out a revised winter schedule for train operations across the country, effective from October 16, 2025. The updated timetable aims to ensure smoother travel and better punctuality during the colder months, with several trains seeing changes in departure times and stops.

Seasonal timetable adjustments are a routine practice by Pakistan Railways to accommodate weather conditions and passenger demand. This year’s winter schedule includes operational optimizations and the restoration of previously suspended services to improve nationwide connectivity.

According to an official statement, departure timings of 16 trains have been slightly modified, while three trains have had certain stops removed. Additionally, four suspended trains have been restored and reintegrated into the schedule.

In a positive development, nine trains that previously had temporary halts at certain stations have now been granted permanent stops, including Rehman Baba Express, Karachi Express, Shalimar Express, Jaffar Express, Pak Business Express, Pakpattan Express, Tezgam, and Millat Express.

A spokesperson for Pakistan Railways stated,

“The revised schedule is part of our ongoing efforts to enhance passenger convenience and streamline operations during the winter season.”

With these updates, Pakistan Railways aims to deliver improved efficiency, punctuality, and passenger satisfaction throughout the winter travel season.
