Pakistan has officially won the bid to host the Asian-Oceanian Computing Industry Organisation (ASOCIO) Digital Summit in November 2026. The confirmation came after former P@SHA Chairman Muhammad Zohaib Khan shared the development in a LinkedIn post. His announcement marks a major milestone for Pakistan’s technology sector.
He wrote:
This means the technology leadership and delegations of 24 member countries — including Australia, Japan, China, Malaysia, New Zealand, and many others — will be arriving in Pakistan. This is a major milestone for our nation’s tech industry, and the biggest achievement after hosting APICTA.
The Asian-Oceanian Computing Industry Organisation, or ASOCIO, is a leading Information and Communications Technology (ICT) federation representing 24 economies. It works to promote collaboration and digital innovation across Asia and Oceania. Pakistan’s selection as the 2026 host highlights the growing importance of its tech landscape.
