The Provincial Transport Authority of Balochistan has announced a temporary three-day suspension of all passenger bus services across the province from November 12 to 14, 2025, citing security concerns.

The decision covers both intercity and intracity bus operations, affecting government and private operators alike. Authorities emphasized that the measure aims to protect passengers and transport personnel during the current law and order situation.

A spokesperson for the Transport Authority stated,

“This suspension is a precautionary step to maintain public safety and prevent any untoward incidents. Normal operations will resume after November 14.”

Regional Transport Authorities have been instructed to strictly enforce the suspension, ensuring compliance across all districts. Passengers are advised to plan travel accordingly and stay updated with official announcements.

This temporary halt underscores the government’s priority on citizen safety, particularly amid fluctuating security conditions in the province.
