PEL Sends First Transformer Shipment to the US

KARACHI: Pak Elektron Limited (PEL), a key player in Pakistan’s electrical manufacturing industry, has officially commenced exports to the United States. The company’s first batch of transformers was dispatched on March 13, 2025, signaling a crucial step in its global expansion.

In a statement to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), PEL underscored its commitment to tapping into international markets and broadening its global footprint. This achievement highlights the growing potential of Pakistan’s manufacturing sector in reaching developed economies.

Founded on March 3, 1956, PEL operates in two primary divisions: Power and Appliances. It specializes in the production of electrical infrastructure and household electronics, catering to both domestic and international markets.
