The Peshawar Safe City Project has integrated live CCTV camera feeds from Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) stations into its surveillance network after signing a cooperation agreement with TransPeshawar.
The agreement, signed at the Safe City Project headquarters on Friday, marks the beginning of formal technical collaboration between the two organisations to enhance security and monitoring across the city.
Under the initiative, live camera feeds from BRT stations will be monitored through the Safe City surveillance system, expanding the city’s CCTV coverage.
Officials said the integration is a major step towards improving public safety, strengthening real-time surveillance, and ensuring a quicker response to emergencies and security incidents.
