The federal government has lowered the petrol price by Rs2 per litre for the next fortnight, bringing it to Rs263.45 per litre starting December 1, 2025. The move comes after recommendations from the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) and relevant ministries, reflecting global oil trends and domestic market conditions.
High speed diesel (HSD) also saw a reduction of Rs4.79, now priced at Rs279.65 per litre. Officials said these fortnightly adjustments are part of a routine review to ensure fuel prices remain in line with international crude oil rates while providing relief to consumers.
Authorities have urged motorists to stay updated with periodic price notifications as part of the transparent pricing mechanism.
