Gains Against Gulf Currencies
The rupee closed slightly higher against key Gulf currencies, ending the session in green against both the UAE dirham (AED) and the Saudi riyal (SAR), which are closely linked to the US dollar.
Currency dealers said the rupee’s continued strength against the dollar is supported by improving external indicators, stable inflows, and controlled demand, though volatility in international markets continues to affect its performance against other major currencies.
