Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif met with global AI pioneer Emad Mostaque in Riyadh to discuss Pakistan’s strategy for adopting artificial intelligence in governance, education, and economic development. The meeting was also attended by Minister of State Bilal Bin Saqib MBE, Dr. Sohail, and Mr. Naveen.
During the discussion, both sides explored how AI can be used to improve public services, boost digital literacy, and create new opportunities for the country’s youth. The Prime Minister emphasized the government’s commitment to using emerging technologies to drive national progress and support innovation-led growth.
This engagement reflects Pakistan’s growing focus on digital transformation. With global partnerships and policy frameworks taking shape, the government aims to position Pakistan as a regional hub for AI research, talent, and innovation.
