The Punjab Safe Cities Authority has rolled out a new online platform that allows citizens to cancel traffic challan issued due to system or technical mistakes, including duplicate violations, without visiting any PSCA office or waiting in queues.
According to the authority, drivers who receive more than one challan for the same violation can now submit a review request directly from their phone or computer. The feature has been introduced to make it easier for users to cancel traffic challan that was generated incorrectly and streamline the complaint-handling process across Punjab.
Users can access the service by opening the PSCA e-Challan portal and entering their vehicle registration number along with their CNIC number. After logging in, the user must choose the Review option and provide a short explanation of the issue, such as receiving two challans for the same date and time.
The PSCA says the online mechanism will reduce workload at physical offices and ensure that invalid or duplicate challans are removed quickly. It also improves transparency in the digital challan management system.
Citizens can also use the PSCA Public Safety mobile application, available on Android and iOS, which includes the same e-Challan review and management functions for added convenience.
